Dinkbridge

With over a decade of production experience, Chris Komus is Dinkbridge, a dubstep machine aimed at doing things a little differently. More than just basslines and a beat, Dinkbridge is dark and cinematic, symphonic and progressive, with aggressive basslines and glitched-out percussion. Influenced by science fiction movie scores, Dinkbridge is the soundtrack to a post apocalyptic world where the last of the human race is ruled over by emotionally unstable disconsolate disco robots.

Chris Komus’s first exposure to dubstep was at a large outdoor music festival a few years ago. Captivated by deep heavy slammin bass, dark brooding textures, and the sometimes melancholic atmospheres, he’s since been hooked. Soon after, Dinkbridge (which started originally as a breakcore project) became the outlet for Chris Komus’s unique brand of dubstep.

Dinkbridge (who’s project is titled after the nickname of a bridge in Chris Komus’s hometown of Winnipeg, Canada), also has a couple of side projects: Chris Komus, a self titled project focusing on tech-house, progressive, electro, and techno; and Lo Progression, a progressive and fullon psytrance project.
